Topside:
Decks & Cabin top surveyed for moisture in 2005. Wet core removed & repaired with Airex foam. Sources of moisture intrusion were also removed.
- Lifeline stanchions + pulpit were moved to the cap rail. This widens the decks as well and allows a free-flow of water to the drain
- Fuel fill & water fills were relocated to areas that do not penetrate at a low point on the deck.
- A platform was added for anchor roller / storage
- Cabin top, decks, cockpit + hull were sprayed with Awl-Craft 2000 Oyster White + Forest Green stripes
- Eyebrow was removed as was teak at cap-rail. Starboard material was used to create a new cap-rail cover & S.S. quarter round was added to the rail. This replaces the original vinyl rub rail.
- A more effective ladder + platform was added to allow safer access from dinghy as well as a swim ladder that allows safer access to the platform from the water. Steps go down low enough to engage your feet, without having to pull yourself up with your arms.
- Cabin top has 4 platforms added to provide a safe standing surface for covering the sail as well as an elevated grab rail. 4 cabin top vents.
- A Harken cleat has been added to the mast to allow more direct hoisting of the main halyard. A two speed Lewmar is in place, if you need it. This allows much quicker / easier halyard operation.
- The main sheet winch is moved to port to allow a fairer lead to the turning block. Also a second cleat is provided to allow the other end of the mainsheet to be trimmed without the winch. New double lifelines, uncoated, two wide gates.
- Grab points added to aft cabin top as well as cam cleats for boom lift, chocker + reef lines.
- Mast has Harken sheave at masthead, Harken turning block.
