"Maggie B" is a 1989 44’ Ocean Super Sport two stateroom, two en-suite head sportfishing style boat that is as comfortable entertaining friends and family in the large salon or fishing offshore. She has been meticulously maintained and upgraded by her current and only second owner since new. "Maggie B" had a significant refit at Ocean Yachts in 2003 that included upgrade of all soft goods, including New custom salon furniture, New salon valances, Hunter Douglas day/night roll up shades, headliner throughout, wallpaper throughout, lighting throughout and galley upgrade; New teak cockpit sole.  In 2018 she was updated with New carpeting throughout and all salon furniture reupholstered with high quality Sunbrella fabrics. Since 2005, her current owner has constantly upgraded and rebuilt her mechanical and electrical systems including freshly rebuilt Detroit Diesel engines, New Westerbeke 10KW generator and a completely New DC power system that includes large house battery bank, 3000 watt Victron inverter/battery charger and heavy duty Balmar alternators; LED accent lighting throughout and underwater lights. "Maggie B" includes many custom features not found on other similar Ocean Yachts including custom entertainment center with premium Pioneer AV components and a large Sony Bravia flat screen TV; custom teak cabinet with stainless steel Uline wine cooler and ice maker in salon; custom mattress (and linens) in master state room; custom rod holders in cockpit; and custom cockpit and foredeck winter covers with heavy duty framing.

The salon is large and spacious with comfortable seating for 8-10 and includes a large foldable teak table for dining or entertaining. The spacious galley is three steps down from salon featuring a large GE Profile convection/microwave, modern Princess CERAN ceramic three burner cooktop, New Summit stainless steel refrigerator/freezer and plenty of counter space and cabinet storage. Location of the galley provides the chef a separate space to prepare meals while still being engaged in the salon conversation and activities.  The master stateroom is forward with a walk around queen bed and ensuite head and shower. The guest stateroom also with en-suite head and shower is located forward and to port.

Entering the salon is a teak and holly landing which is also the engine room access hatch. To aft and port is the large L- shaped sofa with abundance of storage underneath the sofa. The aft section of the sofa also has an optional pull out bed for overnight guests. To starboard is the vessel main electrical panel including the Victron DC Power System control and monitoring station. This cabinet also includes an ICOM Command-Mic VHF that is integrated to the bridge main VHF. The New Westerbeke 10KW generator remote control and monitoring panel is also in this area that allows start/stop and monitoring of the generator without having to go into the engine room. Moving forward on the starboard side is a large teak countertop with seating for two on teak stools covered with plush cushions. The stools are bottom weighted to prevent overturning underway. The large teak countertop bridges the space between the salon and the galley and can also serve as an office space during quiet times. The center of the salon is a large teak table with folding leaves bottom weighted to prevent overturning underway. The table can be left in the compact position for cocktails and can then be unfolded for dining that can seat 6-8. Forward and to port is the custom teak cabinet that encloses the New U-Line stainless steel 24-bottle wine cooler and New U-Line stainless steel ice maker. Forward is the custom entertainment center that houses high quality Pioneer A/V and stereo components. Also includes a Niles speaker control system that controls two speakers in the cockpit. In this cabinet is also the New (2019) TRAC-Vision TV3 receiver. This cabinet also provides for ample storage of manuals and two custom heavy duty slide out glassware racks for cocktail, wine and drinking glasses. The speakers in the salon are Bose double-cube with a Bose center speaker atop the entertainment center cabinet. Behind the entertainment center cabinet is access to the stateroom A/C fan unit and filter. In front of the entertainment is a comfortable swivel barrel chair that was recovered in 2018. This is a second barrel chair that is not currently located on the boat.

The galley is located down three steps forward of the salon on the starboard side. Underneath the steps is normally a Kenmore washer which has been removed for added storage space. Current owner has the washer and it can easily be reinstalled to the original water and drainage piping. Galley was completely updated at Ocean Yachts facility in 2003 with New Corian countertops and spacious teak cabinets including integrated/hidden garbage bin. Guest Stateroom

The guest stateroom is to port off the companionway and has side by side twin berths with storage underneath. The twin bunks can be converted into a queen bunk with the optional inserts. There is also storage overhead and a cedar lined closet. Underneath the port side bunk is the hot water heater and the fresh water pump is located under the starboard side bunk. In the center between the bunks is a Kenmore dryer. Guest stateroom includes an en-suite shower and head with updated Galleymaid oval head. En-suite head includes a teak and holly sole and the unique bat-wing doors on the shower stall which provides for a spacious interior. Also includes storage above the head and a medicine cabinet. Upgraded Corian countertops installed during the 2003 refit.

Master Stateroom

The Master stateroom is forward off the companionway and has a queen island walk around bed with storage underneath. Includes a custom Portland mattress.  There is also bedside as well as overhead storage. Master stateroom also includes two cedar lined closets. Anchor chain locker and windlass maintenance access is located forward. Underneath the Master Stateroom hatch is bilge area access with a Rule 2000 GPH bilge pump and two Galleymaid head/toilet macerator pumps.  En-suite head includes a teak and holly sole and the unique bat-wing doors on the shower stall which provides for a spacious interior. Also includes storage above the head and a medicine cabinet. Upgraded Corian countertops installed during the 2003 refit.

A stainless steel ladder with non-skid treads leads up from the cockpit to the flybridge. Flybridge has been completely updated including soft goods, electronics and completely rewired. Flybridge also features New custom designed enclosure panels and bench seating cushions. New Stidd Helm chairs were installed in 2014 and includes covers. Flybridge features updated overhead electronics cabinet including custom designed back-lit accessory switch panel. Flybridge hardtop and walking area non-skid was redone with Alexseal products. There is a large area for chart work and ample storage drawers.  There are bench seats forward and to starboard with ample storage underneath and New cushions. There is additional storage forward. Also features custom LED lighting system.

Engine Room

The engine room has been completely updated, upgraded and detailed. Teak and holly throughout. Engine room hatches completely rebuilt and insulated with 2.5” Soundown acoustic/thermal insulation. New 240 gallon fuel tanks outboard of each engine. Bulkheads insulated with 2.5” Soundown acoustic/thermal insulation. Generator and equipment compartment insulated with six coats of Silent Running acoustic coating, painted and detailed. All hoses double clamped (where possible) with AWAB and constant tension Belville washer clamps. All hoses upgraded to blue silicone. Custom generator control panel. Upgraded engine and generator compartment LED lighting.

The foredeck non-skid was completely redone in 2014. There are three hatches; one forward for master state room and one for each head. All hatches were completely rebuilt and powder coated in 2013. Hatches were also raised and rebedded  in 2013 and foredeck painted in Alexseal Oyster white. New Ideal windlass with wildcat was installed in 2016 with 100 feet 5/16” chain and 200 feet of 8-plait rode. Remote windlass installed at same time.

The teak cockpit was totally replaced at Ocean Yachts in 2003 during extensive refit. There are two large hatches/fishboxes with access to the lazarette. In the center is another small hatch that was formerly the live bait well that has been converted to storage. All hatches have been retrofit with heavy duty Gemlux stainless steel recessed hinges for ease of operation. The transom/tuna door is located on the starboard side. There are two large storage lockers on both port and starboard The bait/cockpit freezer is located next to the salon door., The tackle center is located on port side and has nine drawers. There is salt and fresh water deck washdowns. The fresh water washdown facet also serves as the dock water supply. Fresh water tank (100 gallon) fill is located on the port side. There are eight rod holders with four being swivel.  The stainless steel ladder to the bridge is located center of the cockpit. There is a stainless steel sink on port side. Cockpit has updated LED lighting aft and in the overhang. The overhang also houses two Poly Planar outdoor speakers that are controlled from the salon stereo system.  Custom rod holders port, starboard and in overhang (12).  Cable Master Automatic shore power cord system.  Cockpit throttles & transmission controls located in starboard cockpit cabinet with engine emergency shutdowns.
