The Catalina 380 has modern styling with a huge cabin that is bright and airy. All sail handling is from the comfort of the cockpit.

The 380 is designed to incorporate the performance, accommodations, and features which experienced sailors consider important.

The Catalina 380 is one of the largest and best-appointed yachts in her size range and because of this the 380 was named "Boat of the Year" in 1996 due to her innovative interior and outstanding exterior design features.

This Catalina 380 was outfitted and commissioned with many extra options for safety and comfort at sea. She has Larger self-tailing primary winches, better storage and is loaded with gear for comfortable local or offshore cruising. Sensibly equipped with an offshore-capable rig with double spreader mast, in-line uppers, intermediates, fore and aft lowers, forestay, and backstay. The inboard shroud base allows for narrow sheeting angles and the ability to carry large genoas.

In the cockpit, excellent visibility forward is assured by the low profile ball bearing mainsheet traveler. For the crew, the cockpit table comes with two drop leafs, beverage storage, and foot rest. Steering is traditional pedestal layout with stainless guard and a 5-inch compass with stainless binnacle.

The forward cabin has a V-berth which accommodates two.  A hanging locker on the starboard side with a storage cabinet on the bow section.  A sink and vanity is to port.  A large hatch allows ventilation and light.  The main salon has a U-shaped dinette with a drop dining table, which converts to a double berth.  A settee is located on the starboard side with a chart table aft of the settee.  The chart table has a swivel chair that swings under the table.  Storage and shelves are located on both sides of the dinette and underneath the seating.

A full galley is to port, with a three burner / oven gas stove, double sink, hot/cold pressurized water, filtered drinking water, a 12v refrigerator, three storage cabinets and under counter storage locker.  The aft stateroom has a centerline queen size berth, with hanging lockers, storage shelves and storage lockers on each side.  The berth can be accessed from either side.  The head is on the starboard side with a separate stand-up shower stall.  Access is from the main salon or the aft stateroom.  A bimini, with roll-up side curtains, and a dodger can close-in the cockpit and used as a balmy day room.

The cockpit has seating on both sides with a center cockpit table.  Navigation instrumentation is located at the wheel.  Sail control lines have access from the cockpit.  There is a walk through to the transom with a fold down ladder.  Two outboard seats are located aft of the cockpit.
